ProThink is a personal brand of Uday Kumar, based in Pune, India, offering paid career workshops and one-to-one counselling for IT professionals through the website prothink.in. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we do and do not collect when you use this website, how it is handled, and the rights available to you under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

The contact form does not send data to us

This is the most important thing to understand about how the site works. The contact form on prothink.in does not submit to any server and does not store your information anywhere. When you fill it in and press send, the website simply opens WhatsApp (via a wa.me link) with the details you typed pre-filled into a message. You then choose whether to actually send that message. Until you press send inside WhatsApp, nothing leaves your device; when you do send it, your information goes directly from your device to WhatsApp and Meta. ProThink's website neither receives nor stores that data on any server of its own.

How you contact us

The channels we use to communicate are WhatsApp, phone, and email (uday.kumar@prothink.in and WhatsApp +91 83909 03799). When you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is carried and stored by WhatsApp and Meta, and it is governed by their own privacy and data policies, not by this website. We recommend you review WhatsApp's and Meta's privacy policies to understand how they handle your messages and metadata. Once you reach out to us on any of these channels, we keep the details you share (such as your name, contact details, and what you tell us about your career goals) only for the purpose of responding to you and delivering any service you request.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. GA4 is loaded only after you accept cookies through the consent banner shown on the site. If you do not accept, GA4 is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you do accept, GA4 sets cookies on your device and shares usage information (such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions) with Google. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your cookies or adjusting your browser settings, and you can review Google's own privacy policy to understand how Google processes this data.

No online payments

The website does not process any online payments. Registration and payment for workshops and counselling are arranged manually over WhatsApp or other agreed channels. We therefore do not collect or store card numbers, bank details, or payment credentials on this website.

What we do not do

We do not run server-side databases of website visitors, we do not sell your personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles about you. The only automated data collection on the site is GA4, and only after your consent.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

Where we hold personal data about you (for example, the details you share with us over WhatsApp, phone, or email in the course of a workshop or counselling engagement), you have rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. These include the right to access the personal data we hold about you, the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, the right to request erasure of your data when it is no longer needed, and the right to raise a grievance about how your data is handled.
