These Terms of Service govern your use of the prothink.in website and the services offered by ProThink, a personal brand of Uday Kumar, based in Pune, India. By using this website or registering for any workshop or counselling session, you agree to these Terms.
The services
ProThink offers paid, educational career services for IT professionals. These currently include the Career Design Workshop for Freshers, the Career Acceleration Workshop for Experienced Professionals, the Career Mentoring Workshop for Parents and Mentees, and one-to-one Career Counselling Sessions. These services work alongside the book The Resilient IT Professional. All services are advisory and educational in nature; they sell knowledge and guidance, not job outcomes.
Fees and changes
Fees for workshops and counselling are as listed on the website or as quoted to you directly at the time of enquiry. We may change our fees, offerings, and schedules from time to time. The fee applicable to you is the one agreed at the time you register and pay for a service.
Registration and payment
Registration and payment are handled manually over WhatsApp (+91 83909 03799) or other channels we agree with you. The website does not process online payments. Your place in a workshop or session is confirmed once payment is received and we acknowledge it. Please keep any confirmation message we send you as your record.
Rescheduling and refunds
[Refund/reschedule policy: e.g. full refund if cancelled 48h before the session; sessions may be rescheduled once with reasonable notice; no refund for no-shows — owner to confirm and finalise this clause.]
Intellectual property
All frameworks, methodologies, worksheets, slides, workshop materials, the content of the book The Resilient IT Professional, and all content on this website are the intellectual property of ProThink and Uday Kumar, unless stated otherwise. You may use the materials provided to you for your own personal learning only. You may not record, copy, redistribute, resell, publish, or share workshop materials or session content with third parties without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the website and our services lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to disrupt the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, misuse our contact channels, or use our materials in any way that infringes our intellectual property or the rights of others. We may decline service to, or remove from a session, anyone who behaves abusively or breaches these Terms.
No guarantee of outcomes
Our workshops, counselling, and book provide education and guidance only. We do not guarantee any job, placement, interview, promotion, offer, or salary outcome. Your results depend on your own effort, circumstances, and decisions. Please also read our Disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProThink and Uday Kumar are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or services, including any career, financial, or employment decisions you make based on our guidance. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
Third-party channels
We communicate through WhatsApp, phone, and email. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's and Meta's own terms and policies, over which we have no control. The website uses Google Analytics 4 only after you accept cookies, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, India.
